We've partnered with the wonderful and hardworking folks at the Muslim Social Services Waterloo Region (MSS) to help distribute the toys collected via the Beaver Eid Toy Drive to families and children in our community.
Muslim Social Services Waterloo Region is a charitable organization that provides culturally and spiritually sensitive humanitarian and social services to the Muslim and non-Muslim communities of the Waterloo Region.

The toys will be given to low-income, newcomer, and refugee children in our community to celebrate Eid and bring joy during a meaningful time of the year. For many families navigating resettlement and adjustment, these gifts provide not only fun, but also a sense of inclusion, care, and belonging. By supporting these children, we help create a nurturing environment that strengthens families, uplifts spirits, and contributes to a more inclusive and connected community.
MSSWR aims to foster a healthy and inclusive region where people can live with dignity and respect. We aim to create a deep sense of belonging in community members from collectivist contexts through programs aimed at leveraging the resilience of children and youth, creating safer families, through community outreach initiatives, counselling, bridge-building, and capacity-building..
